Last Saturday, January 7th, we celebrated our Great Kings Tournament, the first golf tournament of 2023 in Santa Marina.

The day began at 9:30 a.m. with consecutive tee offs from tee 1. The good weather was with us throughout the morning and the participating members were able to enjoy a great day of golf.

The competition, which was played under the Individual Stableford modality, was sponsored by Confiterias Blanco, who gave us a traditional “roscón de reyes” for each of the winners.

These were the results of the competition:

1º José Martín Rodríguez (36 points)
2nd José Luis Rio Llorente (33 points)
3rd José Ángel Sánchez Menéndez (33 points)
Scratch – Nicolás Moreno Lopez
Best Lady – Eva moura Núñez (28 points)

After the awards ceremony, many of the members went to the restaurant to enjoy an excellent meal on the terrace.
