The Pedreña course hosted the Men’s Regional Individual Championship – 1st Category, played under the Stroke Play format, bringing together some of the best Cantabrian players in the category.
Victory went to José Antonio Salas López, who signed an outstanding card of 69 strokes (-1), the only player able to finish under par, showing great consistency throughout the round.
In second place, with a score of +4 (74 strokes), was Rodrigo Corino Presmanes, followed by Pablo Sordo Merino in third place, completing the competition podium after a very closely contested day. Very close behind was Miguel del Carmen Sierra, finishing fourth with +5 (75 strokes).
The tournament once again highlighted the high competitive level of Cantabrian golf in the top regional category, on a day marked by the course’s difficulty and a very tight leaderboard.
