The Cantabrian Golf Federation Cup came to an end, putting the finishing touch on a competition marked by excitement, high-level play, and sportsmanship throughout every round.
In the men’s category, Felipe Gómez Díaz was crowned champion after a thrilling final that wasn’t decided until the very last moment. The Cantabrian golfer defeated Marcel Fonseca Aguilar 1 Up on the 36th hole, showing composure and resilience at the most crucial points.
In the women’s category, the undisputed standout was Inés González Ortega, who dominated from the very start of the final. Her outstanding level of play saw her win by a commanding 8 & 7 over María Martínez Navarro, securing the title of 2025 Cantabrian Golf Federation Cup Champion.
We would like to congratulate both champions, as well as all participants, for their effort, commitment, and sporting spirit. Once again, the Cantabrian Golf Federation Cup has proven to be a must-attend event in the regional golf calendar.
