With clear skies, wind (moderate) from the northeast, a temperature that ranged from 5 º C in the early hours and 12 º C in the middle of the day, was held on Saturday January 18, at the Municipal Golf Course ‘Mataleñas’ Santander, the I Regional Score Pitch & Putt 2025, which was registered 64 golfers (56 men and 8 women), took the start divided into two rounds, the first that was scheduled to be put into play at 09: 30, suffered a delay, it was necessary to wait for the greens of holes 1 and 2 to recover from the night frost, the second round teed off at the scheduled time (12:30).
Despite the lack of competition, the records obtained were at the height of the handicaps, highlighting the cards presented by those who, a priori, start as favourites.
The male scratch classification was headed by:
1st Álvaro Fernández Ochoa with 52 (-2) strokes.
2nd Ernesto Rodríguez Vega with 53 (-1) strokes.
3rd José González Méndez with 54 (par) strokes.
The women’s scratch classification was headed by:
1st Lucia Gonzalez Ortega with 56 (+2) strokes.
2nd Andrea Noriega Puente with 57 (+3) strokes.
3rd Stella Gautschi Herrero with 60 (+6) strokes.
The first classified male handicap was Ernesto Rodriguez Vega with 49 strokes and the first classified handicap was Stella Gautschi Herrero with 56 strokes.
It will be again the Pitch & Putt course of the Municipal Golf Course ‘Mataleñas’ Santander, which will host on Saturday 8 February, the II Regional Pitch & Putt Score 2025.
