The Royal Spanish Golf Federation has organized a meeting with the Presidents of the Autonomous Golf Federations, who have attended the call made by Gonzaga Escauriaza, President of this federative body.
The meeting took place at Alicante Golf in order to pay homage to Andrés Torrubia, President of the Golf Federation of the Valencian Community for the last twelve years and who has been replaced in office by Juan Pintor.
The meeting of Presidents has promoted the debate on the current situation of this sport in our country while monitoring all the projects in progress.
Promotional actions; amateur and professional competitions held in Spain; sports results; monitoring the evolution of licences, which have increased for the fourth consecutive year… have formed part, among others, of the issues dealt with by Gonzaga Escauriaza in this meeting.
Also on the agenda was the Training Courses for Sports Technicians as one of the main points. Everyone is aware of the importance that the professionals who teach golf need the best possible preparation.
