The first gathering of the PEGASO 2022-2023 Program was held with 21 youth participating players.
The Federation divided the participants into three groups that rotated through the rules, physical preparation and game sections.
Physical training
In the physical preparation and game sections it was possible to verify the advances that the players have developed during these first three months of the Program (October-December), in play under the guidelines of their teachers in their club or course and in physical preparation under the guidance of the person in charge of this section. In the rules section, the players, in addition to reviewing the main rules, have learned about the changes to them that will come into force in 2023.
Technique
The president, Juan Carlos Alba, who attended the event, thanked the players, the clubs and course and those responsible for the training and for this event, the work and effort that is made. He also had words of gratitude for the parents of the players, indicating that they play a key role. He also indicated that more of this events will be held in order to continue to contribute to the golf improvement of young players.
Rules
At the end players and coaches expressed their satisfaction with the development of the event and the coaches made a small assessment and encouraged the participants to continue working on their golf training.
